How buying a gun online works in Oklahoma

  1. Pick your firearm and your dealer. Add the gun to your cart and choose a licensed Oklahoma dealer at checkout. From Tulsa gun counters to rural shops out west, Oklahoma has plenty of transfer dealers. Compare fees and make sure they’re open when your package is due.
  2. Shipped to the shop you picked. We confirm your dealer’s license, then ship the firearm to them. Guns don’t ship to home addresses.
  3. NICS check and pickup. Show ID and complete ATF Form 4473; your Oklahoma dealer runs the FBI NICS check. Once you’re approved, inspect the firearm and take it home.

What Oklahoma customers shop for

Oklahoma seasons are set by the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC). Check ODWC’s current regulations before you hunt.

Long shots on open country

Western Oklahoma’s open wheat fields and prairie can stretch shots for deer and coyotes. A flat-shooting cartridge, a scope with a usable reticle and a solid rest make the biggest difference. Learn your rifle’s drop at 200, 300 and 400 yards with your chosen ammo, and practice reading the wind. Oklahoma wind can be relentless, and it moves bullets more than most new long-range shooters expect.
