The Model 1892 is considered by many as the smoothest, most compact, handiest and most handsome lever-action ever offered. It is the compact model of the venerable Model 1886. The Winchester Model 1892 features a beautifully finished Walnut stock, blued barrel and receiver, Marble front sight, adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, and a 20″ button-rifled barrel. The steel contoured carbine strap and buttplate is quick to shoulder and protects buttstock from damage.
